Glass fibre reinforced plastic (GRP) is a strong, chemically resistant composite material. It consists of glass fibres in a polyester resin and is used in applications such as boats, aircraft, sports cars and (sewer) pipes. GRP pipes are resistant to aggressive substances such as sulphuric acid and require little maintenance. They are lightweight and durable, making them ideal for installation in various environments.
