Thanks to extensive research, Schuberth has identified five different head shapes, ranging from extremely round to extremely oval. Using this data, an EPS and lining have been developed that perfectly fit round to oval head shapes, which represent more than 98% of the population. However, this was not enough for Schuberth, as they also wanted to offer an option for extreme head shapes, which led to the Schuberth Individual programme.
In the case of an extremely round head shape, the customer has the option of adjusting the lining by inserting thinner side pads and thicker rear pads to ensure a perfect fit. In the case of an extremely oval head shape, the customer has the option of adjusting the lining by inserting thicker side pads and thinner rear pads to ensure a perfect fit.
In addition to the option of personalising the head pads, we also offer the option of personalising the fit of the helmet in the cheek area. For this purpose, we offer two additional cheek pads: the Sport cheek pads for a more aggressive and stable fit, and the Comfort cheek pads for a softer and looser fit.
